Camp Misawannee Staff Application 2025!

Camp Misawannee provides girls with fun opportunities to grow in friendship, and enjoy crafts, drama, and sports activities with the goal of developing a virtuous life.

Daycamps will run July 7th to 10th. Overnight camp will run from August 11th to August 16th for campers, with staff arriving on August 9th and departing on August 16th. You will be asked to indicate which dates you are available.

Before you begin...

Camp is an energetic environment. You are outside for most of the day, even just walking between buildings. Once campers arrive, you are also involved in managing small- to medium-sized groups. You are often around people and often around noise (although there is also time for peace and quiet). Please keep that in mind when applying as staff!

Camp Misawannee is a camp with a Catholic spirit. Daily mass, rosary, and confession are all available and the talks and mentoring are conducted in a way consistent with Catholic principles. Spiritual activities are highly recommended, but not compulsory.

New staff will be required to submit two letters of reference as part of this form. References should be from the professional world if possible and not from family members. If you have worked in a position involving children, we require a reference from your supervisor in that position.

All staff will be required to:
Submit a Medical Waiver (click here)

- Submit a Suitability Declaration Form (email to campmisawannee@gmail.com) (click here)

- New Staff Only: Attend LEAP, a mandatory training program, on Saturday, April 26th, 2025

All CITs (grades 10 and 11) and all new staff will also be required to pay the $250 staff-in-training fee.

It may take around 30 minutes to complete the staff application. Staff applications are due March 16th. Thank you for your time!
